Explosive Detection
Trace and Bulk Detection/Identification Equipment
The Fentanyl crisis is real and ACS has multiple technologies to help you and your team address this growing threat. On a daily basis law enforcement, customs agents, and security personnel use trace detection to identify the minutest quantities of compounds invisible to the naked eye. These threats, whether they are from drugs, explosives, or other chemicals can pose life threatening risks to the public and security forces alike. We carry products that can detect the presence of these threats as well as identify that, “unknown substance” found during a search safely, quickly and accurately.
ACS has over 20 years of experience providing security, screening and explosive trace detection equipment throughout the greater Northeastern United States. We sell and service explosive and narcotics detection and identification technologies from Smiths Detection. A Variety of ETD Machines
The IONSCAN 600 is the latest and most advanced IMS based trace detector ever produced by Smiths Detection. The IONSCAN 600 features an extensive library of narcotics – including many synthetics, Fentanyl (and numerous analogs), as well as numerous other drugs and explosive compounds. This system is utilizes a non-radioactive source and is portable while operating on battery power for hours.
The Target-ID is the most cost effective infrared spectrometer available with a preloaded onboard library of thousands of illicit drugs and their precursors. Engineered using the same technology found in the well proven HazMatID line of products, the Target-ID will identify most any compound in under a minute with actionable and defendable accuracy. FTIR has been a standard for chemical identification and the Target-ID allows you to take that standard with you into the field.
The ACE-ID is a handheld Raman spectroscopy based bulk substance identifier, providing non-contact analysis of explosives, narcotics, and mixtures in seconds. Capable of identifying more than 500 substances consisting of explosives, precursors, narcotics and toxic chemicals without making contact. It is ergonomically designed for one handed operation with touch screen interface. ACE-ID is ruggedized for use in severe climates and terrains, making it easy to use by military explosive ordnance disposal technicians, civilian bomb squads and hazmat teams.
